Space Gorilla is of few words, instead his actions inspire the eyewitness accounts passed on through generations of those beholden of his brave cosmic feats.  When martians come to conquer earth, when alien monsters from far flung galaxies seek to enslave the human race, tapping our skulls for brain juice to power their inter-dimensional warp drives, when asteroid storms threaten to pulverize our planet and end humanity, its Space Gorilla who’ll save not just the day but the entire space-time continuum.

Screenwriting

With a masters in screenwriting from AFTRS, multiple awards, years lecturing/tutoring for various film schools and over ten years experience as a professional screenwriter, the team at Space Gorilla take great pride in their ability to conceive, develop and write dramatic screenplays, outlines, treatments and pitches across all genres for all mediums. We are story, we are character, we are drama.

Script Editing

You want to write your screenplay? Fine, good, do it. But when it comes time for feedback, when you need to know where the drama is in your work and where it isn't, when you are looking for illumination concerning your next draft, call on us to script edit. Remember, a good script editor never tells you what to write, they merely indicate what is and isn't working while shining a light on the path your characters choose to take.

Film

We at Space Gorilla are super passionate about film and have worked hard to have the suitable training and experience to be able to supply all pre-production, production and post-production necessities to create cinema that not just entertains but transforms. With several short films under our belt being recognised by film festivals around the world, we continue to make shorts to hone our skills while developing feature film properties.

Television

Audiences are lucky to now be living in the golden era of television and we at Space Gorilla are excited to be part of that audience. With properties like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, House of Cards and Daredevil it could be argued that the greatest drama now exists on the small screen rather than the silver and with distribution methods digitally evolving, more people than ever can enjoy their favourite shows. We love television, we consume it like breathing air so it only follows that the joy we've had in creating other's properties is increased with overbearing vigour in the projects we develop. We have projects in the works, but are also looking for exciting projects at various stages of development to produce. 

Music Videos

Experimental filmmaking has always been an important part of cinema, allowing filmmakers to explore and pioneer new methods of screen communication and expression, but it never found any real mainstream interest. Due to the work of filmmakers like Kenneth Anger during the 1960s, the 1980s heralded the birth of the music video. Experimental filmmaking found an outlet that made it not just accepted, but loved by mainstream audiences. We at Space Gorilla continue to push the boundaries of film and screen storytelling with the music videos we make while working with the music artists to create a visual representation of their work that not just services their fan base but expands it. Collectively, Space Gorilla have created over fifteen music videos, we love them.
